Hoodia Side Effects
Are There Any Harmful Side Effects?
There are reports and studies everywhere you turn relating to Hooida and how this natural herb suppresses the appetite. As a result of this there are numerous reports and studies demonstrating how people have finally managed to shed unwanted pounds.
However, the questions that are always asked are: Side Effects - Are there any side effects to - the herbal supplement?
By taking as part of a fitness program - will it affect your health in a negative way? To be perfectly honest with you, some reports say yes. However, there simply aren’t enough studies to prove whether or not causes these side effects.
Many people take to help them loose weight and they don’t complain of any side effects. As a matter of fact, you will find many companies who market as the natural herbal supplement without side effects?
So, who is right?
Hoodia was rejected by drug companies - saying there are Side Effects, BUT this is not quite true...
One of the pharmaceutical giants, Pfizer, bought the rights to and began trying to synthesize the drug back in 1996.
In 2002, they released the rights to the drug stating that they experienced trouble synthesizing
the drug.
Some reports and findings took this as an indication that side effects were the real reason for releasing the rights to the supplement, which they had purchased previously.
Further reports were provided by Jasjit Bindra PhD, a former researcher for at Pfizer. He stated that side effects include a disruption of the liver’s natural functions, which could lead to complications with other medications the person is taking or worse.
Another side effect is seen for people who suffer from diabetics. will make you feel full and it makes you feel as if your blood sugar is regulated. Extreme care should be taken from anyone who suffers from diabeties. This can be dangerous for diabetics, who must monitor their blood suger levels at all times. This however could, plummet while taking and nobody would ever know until it was too late.
One of the common side effects reported is dehydration. Hoodia, apparently not only makes you feel full but it can also make you feel as if you’re not thirsty. If you suffer from dehydration, you may not actually be aware of thisare dehydrated, as thirst is your body’s natural way of telling you that you need to drink something fast.
Hoodia has been in use for Thousands Of Years
Numerous Testomonials Despitevarious reports of side effects, people have and will continue to use to assist them in their weight loss. After all, it is said, that as has been used for thousands of years by the natives of South Africa. They have.never reported any side effects.
That may be true.
Oppositions to say that the natives of South Africa weren’t exposed to the medications and other chemicals we now regularly put into our bodies.
More studies need to be done to determine if there are any side effects are - if there are any at all. There will always be arguments both for and against any side effects. It is important that you research it's use carefully and if in any doubt you should consult a doctor.
If you suffer from such a condition as Diabeties, then I would not recommend it's use WITHOUT referring to your Doctor.
